It’s Christmas Eve, and I can still get away wearing a skirt and a t-shirt in forever sunny Arizona. Today I got my last-minute shopping done. What a pro! Happy Holidays everyone!

Casual Friday.
Today was wonderful. I had lunch with a couple of friends and finally caught up on some much needed sleep. Also, I think I’m going to contribute to the whole “fashion blogging” atmosphere, and start posting outfit-of-the-days.

The Beauty of Adversity
In every negative situation, there will always be a positive solution. Don’t let criticisms, failures, and misfortunes bring you down and define you, use them to motivate yourself. Show no anger, humiliation, sadness, or self-pity. Prove everyone wrong and when you have succeeded, face the world with a fat ass smile and say, “Fuck you”.
Thanksgiving Break
In the span of four days, my life was drastically changed. I was taught to value and actually learn the meaning of being “thankful.” In today’s society, that word, along with “love” and “hate” are interchangeably used around carelessly, and soon enough, they become letters that make up a banal word. I am guilty of these actions. But these recent events have taught me to look beyond the external value of the word, and instead, express what the word signifies. For that, I am truly thankful. I’m thankful of the struggles and the happiness that I am lucky enough to possess, and for the people that stand by my side no matter the consequence.
